Born and raised in New York City, Honey has always loved to dance. She trained in classical ballet with the Joffrey Ballet School for ten years when she was young, performing on stage at Lincoln Center and Brooklyn Academy of Music. After college and work took her away from home for a few years, she returned to NYC, this time
settling in Brooklyn. Here she found her dance family at Salsa Salsa Dance Studio in 2015.
Though she was new to Latin dance, she became enamored with Salsa, quickly added Bachata to her repertoire, and found her true love in Cha Cha Cha. In addition to taking classes and attending weekly socials, she joined the studio’s Brooklyn Touch performance team to push her dancing skills even further.
Honey continues to take advanced classes to keep improving as a dancer, and now co-instructs in both Salsa and Cha Cha Cha classes. One of her personal passions is in ladies styling, which gives her an opportunity to incorporate the grace and poise of her ballet background. Her signature style is elegant yet accessible, and always playful. She is thrilled to be part of the Salsa Salsa community and looks forward to sharing her love of
dance with students.
